Faves of the Month

Since fall is rolling in and fall fashion is everywhere, I’ve been getting excited for warmer weather staples, like sequins! As it happened, I was in H&M the other day to check out their mid season sale and low and behold I found this little sequin gem for…(wait for it)…$7.50!

I don’t think I’m alone when I say that one of the best things about October is the Pumpkin Spice latte. I picked up the actual spice and have been using it in my morning brew to get me into the spirit of the season. (I use Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice and sprinkle it in the filter with the grinds so the coffee brews with the pumpkin flavor)

There’s a reason you’re seeing these shoes on the feet of all your favorite bloggers…they’re fabulous! They have a midi-heel height that’s comfortable and works for lots of occasions. I haven’t got them…YET.

 Along with sequins, the fall/winter season gets me in the mood for serious s-p-a-r-k-l-e. I saw these cute necklaces (incidentally also at H&M) and had to make them mine. If you follow me on instagram you’ve probably seen me wear them. They add instant glamour to a simple t-shirt and jeans.

Back in May I had the pleasure of meeting the west coast editor of Lucky Magazine, Marlien Rentmeester. She is as nice as she is fashionable and she has an AMAZING blog called Le Catch. It’s one of my favorites at the moment and a constant source of inspiration.
