I had an accessories ah-ha moment last weekend while working… shh!
I’ve been inspired by the ankle strap flats lately, and have been itching to do a new DIY Mel Made. For those who know me know that it’s been awhile since my last DIY. With that said, I leave you with my latest creation… FINALLY!
Quick tip: You can also use decorative hair ties or handbag straps to interchange your looks throughout the season. Go crazy. Have fun with it!

I love this idea, I have a million flats that are sitting in a corner of my closet that this idea would be perfect for. I just have one question, where can I find buckle straps? I looked online and didn’t find what I was looking for exactly.
You can find the buckle straps at any craft store or you can remove the straps from an old pair of sandals. :)
