Hair How to with TNique: Beach Waves

How many times have you tuned into E! or flipped through Life & Style and come across that beautifully waved coiffe ala Kim K or SJP? Whether it’s polished or toussled, it’s totally femme and simply chic!

1: Begin by sectioning off hair. The first two sections will be from the top of the ear, forward. The remaining sections (two for fine-medium density, three for denser hair types) will be from the top of the ear to the back of the head. If your hair has a problem with curl retention, lightly spray each section with a flexible hold hairspray.

2: Curl the sections in the front in a direction going away from the face. Curl the back sections the opposite direction.

3: Be sure to curl each section from the top of the strand to the ends of the strand. This technique helps to avoid split ends, and assures even curl pattern.

4: Flip your head over and either spray a shine agent for those prone to frizz or a flexible hold hairspray for those prone to limp curls. Et viola!! Simply wave buh-bye to lifeless hair!!
