I usually leave the DIY’s to Mel since she’s much better at them, however once in awhile I get an idea and I can’t help but give it a go. (Usually they’re so easy a second grader could do it!) Last weekend, after cleaning out my closet, I got several ideas to reinvent some things I rarely use. I made a list, headed to Michael’s craft store, stock piled some supplies and created a few projects to share with you. Here’s the first one.
While I was organizing my handbags I stumbled upon this American Apparel Clutch I had only used a few times. I had been lusting after the Clare Vivier clutch for quite awhile and since they are very similar I decided why not try to create it myself. It came out pretty good don’t you think?

I love the sporty vibe, and I also love how easy this is – even I could do it!
